I am a fourth-year undergraduate student at UCLA, majoring in Sociology and Anthropology. Both majors have strengthened my writing and taught me how to analyze data efficiently. I attended Berkeley City College (BCC) with an A.A in Liberal Arts: Social and Behavioral Sciences, A.A-T in Sociology, and an A.A-T in Psychology. I am very interested in research, I am currently a research assistant at the Heart Equity & Access Research Treatment (HEART) Lab. I am also a Senior Research Associate at The National Library of Patient Rights and Advocacy.

Hi! I'm a senior at UCLA and in my sixth year of full-time postsecondary education (I really like school). I'm going for my Bachelor's in Anthropology. I love tutoring and helping as many students as possible, no matter their age. I'm experienced with K-12 and college students. I'm a Debate teacher for kids age 8 and up, doing after-school and full-time summer camps, for which I independently plan the curriculum and lessons we cover. Besides for that, I'm a Writing tutor at a community college; I have one-on-one sessions with students, and I also attend beginner's English courses as an embedded tutor where I assist the teacher in the classroom (or Zoom room). We are now doing them REMOTELY, so I know how this works. In the past I volunteered with Reading Partners of Los Angeles, tutoring elementary school children from underserved communities. I was also captain of my college's Speech & Debate team and taught my teammates about the art of competitive debate. Prior to those, I managed several restaurants where a large part of my duties was to train crew members and develop new managers-- I did that for about 4 years. Plus, I was a camp counselor all throughout high school!
