About

High School and University students. My goal is to provide students with practical tools, rather than comprehensive knowledge. I want students to understand the nature of mathematics. Specifically, I want to dispel the myth that it is a rigid subject. Perhaps the most valuable tool available to a problem solver is modification. Many problems can be cracked with a little preliminary tinkering. Investing time at the outset of a problem pays dividends in the long run. I want to convince the students of the importance of patience in this sense. It is very important to take enough time to understand the problem before attempting to solve it.
