About
Hi! My name is Mayesha, and I am an Honours Bachelor of Science student at the University of Toronto, specializing in Astronomy & Physics, with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics.
I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) program in high school and was admitted as a UofT Scholar based on academic achievement. I am also a recipient of a Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) fellowship, through which I gained extensive experience in scientific research, data analysis, and programming.
I tutor high school and 1st/2nd year undergraduate students in Calculus (I–III), Linear Algebra, Math, Physics, Astronomy, Python, and introductory computer science. My approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding while also developing efficient problem-solving strategies for homework, quizzes, midterms, and exams. I explain concepts step-by-step and adapt to each student’s learning style.
I also offer support with scientific research projects, programming, data analysis, and report writing for senior high school and early undergraduate students.
