About
Currently, a student at the University of Alberta in their Faculty of Education's Second Year Majoring in Math working towards a Bachelors of Education (Secondary) Degree to one day teach High School - University Level Math. Passionate in the way students are taught and learn how to effectively use math in an increasingly more complicated world. Enthusiastic and loving, hopeful and kind, and will bring out the best in your students. I have tutored privately for more than 7 years and taught in a group (classroom-like) setting for more than a year now, students have gone from failing to passing over the course of weeks working together and believe that any student with the right mindset and focus/determination can accomplish anything whether that be in the realm of math or something else.
I tutor Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Pre Calculus, Calculus I & II, Geometry, and More and love it!! Why? because a hard work ethic based on a foundation of the kind of problem-solving skills you gain from elementary to complex math not only teaches one individual that there is more than one way to come to a correct answer but also teaches that same individual never to give up and to try new things regardless of how many times they need to start again. Math also teaches us that after coming to the right answer there will be things or events that confirm our work, given that nearly all math can be cross-checked to prove itself right. outside of Math, I enjoy taking some time to hang out with close friends and loved ones, to play chess and to watch movies.
