I've worked with students from a wide variety of backgrounds and skill levels and focus on being responsive to the individual needs of the student while maintaining a focus on achieving a solid skills and knowledge base to use in the future. I have lots of experience in identifying areas that need extra work and successful strategies for addressing those needs. General availability in the mornings is from 6am - 11am EST (7am - 9am PST) or evenings from 7pm - 11pm EST (4pm - 11pm PST). Available mornings and afternoons in the UK Because of my experience teaching math full-time I can more easily offer a plan that will integrate with regular school classes. I am familiar with American, Canadian, and British curricula and have worked with students from each of them. My goal is to supplement and reinforce material covered in class while keeping a close eye for areas that need extra attention. During sessions I try to keep things relaxed and as fun as possible to instill confidence and take away the "fear factor" that many have with math. When concepts are understood and the necessary skills have been developed then students will begin to enjoy and appreciate their math classes more and more.
