Hi all! Here's a little bit about who I am, my tutoring experience, and what a session with me looks like. I'm a 3rd year health sci student. I'm new to this platform but not new to teaching. I have 4 years of peer tutoring experience and am a volunteer with Let's Talk Science. I'm also a crisis responder with Kids Help Phone and have volunteered in a hospital for 4 years which have definitely honed my communication, problem solving, and listening skills. My philosophy is that teaching is a 2 way street - we both learn from each other. That means you teach me how I can best teach you. That also means I'm always open to feedback and trying new things to better suit your learning style. Whether you need a concept explained differently, memory tips, or guidance on problems, I'm here for you! I'm open to meeting up in-person or virtually so let me know what works best.
