Additionally, I am happy to share perspectives and practical advice on all facets of undergraduate and graduate-level academic life, including navigating campus resources, managing advisor-student relationships, and preparing for the academic job market.
I hold a PhD in Political Science from the University of Florida, with specializations in Comparative Politics and International Relations and a regional focus on East Asia. Prior to my doctoral studies, I completed an MA in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago, where I received broad interdisciplinary training across history, anthropology, sociology, and political science.
At the University of Florida, I have taught undergraduate political science courses for 7 years, in both in-person and online settings. I have accumulated experience in mentorship through both my instructor role and through other mentorship positions in and beyond the University of Florida.
