About
Hi! I am a patient, benevolent and enthusiastic tutor, whose aim is to offer you a dedicated friendly space in which to practice or learn french.
The most difficult thing while studying a new language is to feel confident enough to dare speak it and make mistakes : this is why I will encourage you to express yourself, giving you lots of tips in the process! Feeling confident and at ease is a must when learning another language, hence my dedication to create a safe space for you to navigate in, explore French, and discover your abilities in the meantime - with the right tutoring, anyone can speak French easily!
Here is a little about me, and my teaching methods :
I have always been passionate about languages - hence teaching French while doing a PhD written in English! I taught French as a Foreign Language to different types of students, from beginners to advanced, immigrants wanting to work in France or young American students in need of quick conversational and writing skills. I love getting to know my students, learning about their specific interests, sharing parts of our cultures and communicating my love for the French language! Making mistakes is not shameful, on the contrary: making mistakes is what allows you to progress, to learn. My aim is to give you the keys to use these mistakes to improve your skills, and to overcome any linguistic difficulty you may find.
Being in the process of writing my Comparative Literature PhD in English, I do know how difficult it can be to master another language, which is why I offer you the best guidance throughout your French learning journey, drawing from my own experience as a language learner.
Whatever your goals, from oral to written skills, from a better comprehension to a perfect conversation, we will manage to reach them all, working together towards achievement, success, and self-accomplishment!
