Full-Time Math and Physics Tutor Helping University and High School Students for 20+ Years

Tutor Information

I have been tutoring Math and Physics for over 20 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Physics with minors in Mathematics and Writing. I spent three years as a graduate student studying Physics at Vanderbilt University. I then taught high school Math and Physics for six years in Louisville, KY. Currently, I am a full-time online tutor. As a teacher, I found that each student learned the material in their own way; there are as many different learning styles as there are students. I work hard to find the right approach for each student. Many of my students have told me that it is my patience and willingness to listen to them that distinguishes me from other tutors they have worked with. Since I am a full-time tutor, I am available throughout the school year and I will always be able to make time for my students. I have a passion for Math and Physics and I am excited to share what I know. I can tutor any high school Math or Physics class. This includes all AP Physics and AP Math classes. I taught AP Physics and AP Calculus for many years, so I am familiar with the subjects and format of these tests. I can also tutor any undergraduate Physics course (General Physics, Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Thermodynamics, etc.), and any related Math course (Calculus I, II, and III, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, etc.), as well as formal or symbolic Logic.

Helped with physics

Eric was incredibly helpful! His knowledge is deep and was able to communicate with my teenage son in terms he could understand. I recommend him without reservation. We will definitely use him again.

Great Conceptual Midterm Prep

Eric is knowledgeable, professional, timely, and flexible with the problems that I present. He teaches me connections between concepts like dynamics and uniform circular motion, and he has allowed me to understand these processes conceptually as I work through problems. Great tutor!
