I am a medical resident with over 11 years of experience tutoring university courses and the MCAT. I scored in the 97th percentile for the Chem/Phys and 99th percentile for the Bio/Biochem sections of the MCAT (2017). I have also taught university exam prep and MCAT science lessons to in-person classes of over 150 students, as well as recorded over thousands of hours of 1-on-1 tutoring. Additionally, my work experience as a TA has taught me the ins and outs of how university exams are written, along with what students can expect from them. In chemistry and biology courses I can consistently predict the types of questions (and occasionally exact questions) that come up on exams. On top of my lecturing experience, I have also helped students to prepare for the MCAT exam. If you're writing the MCAT, I can work with you to design a study schedule, recommend high yield resources, as well as teach you an approach on how to tackle important MCAT questions/passages. In general, when tutoring I like to break down complex concepts into smaller steps using silly and efficient tricks. I've additionally completed a Master's in Neurosciences/Neuroanatomy and finished medical school in Canada. I have expertise tutoring the following tests/subjects: MCAT (Chem/Phys, Bio, Psych/Soc) Organic Chemistry (>3000 hours between tutoring + TA + class instruction) General Chemistry Biology/Physiology I also have expertise in tutoring students studying the subjects of Medicine, Musculoskeletal Anatomy, Neuroscience, Neuroanatomy, and offer them at a REDUCED RATE. Scored in the top quartile on the CASPER examination (2022) Below are sample tutoring resources that have I created to complement my lessons. Also, I have attached some of my student's MCAT scores before versus after our tutoring sessions! Reach out if you're interested in setting up a session! :) NOTE* - I will not be accepting new students until December 2026, if you want to book tutoring, please reach out at that time

STELLA MARIS, ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY
ABOUT MY EDUCATION: From the days of schooling i was very much interested in maths. I did my graduation in the most reputed college in chennai . ' STELLA MARIS' . I did my preuniversity course with MPC , (maths, physics, chemistry) and secured an overall percentage of 95.5. (200\200 in maths) That score was good enough to get an engineering seat in Anna University, but i opted for major maths in stella maris , due to my passion for maths. so i did my BSC ( MATHS) in the same college with PHYSICS and STATISTICS as my ancillaries. I came out with a distinction in my graduation. After a stint of few years i enrolled for MSC ( maths ) to enhance my knowledge. By that time i had started my carrier as a tutor teaching CBSE, ICSE, and AIEEE( IIT entrance) MY METHOD: I don't believe in working only from one book. Even though i am open to teach from the students book or material, i also give them work from different books i have. I first make the fundamentals strong, teach the concepts, and give them problem from different books. This method helps very much for the student to gain confidence and face the exam without the fear of an unseen problem. TOOLS: I have a PEN TABLET and DIGITAL PEN. I write on the whiteboard and share the screen with the student so that the student can view live, what i am writing. The student can also write on the whiteboard. Currently I am tutoring students in 8 countries across the globe. The syllabi I am handling are PRECALCULUS, AP CALCULUS ( both AB and BC ), CALCULUS 1, 2, 3 for UNDERGRAD STUDENTS DOING ENGINEERING( multivariable calculus, linear algebra, vector calculus differential equations), IB maths, FURTHER MATHS and SAT MATHS I am currently coaching students doing graduation in universities like TEXAS, CALIFORNIA, NEW YORK, FINLAND, CANADA and SINGAPORE AND LONDON

Hi, I’m Julia! I’m a second-year PhD student in Operations Research and a teaching assistant at MIT. I have seven years of tutoring experience, working with students from elementary school through third-year university. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto with a 4.00 GPA and a 97.6% average, receiving a university-wide scholarship recognizing me as the top female science graduate. I then pursued graduate-level mathematics coursework at the University of Cambridge before beginning my doctorate at MIT. Alongside my teaching assistant role at MIT, I have served as a teaching assistant for Calculus at the University of Toronto and Astronomy at OCAD University. I teach school mathematics, single-variable and multivariable calculus, linear algebra, ordinary differential equations, logic, set theory, proof writing, introductory probability and statistics, introductory physics, classical mechanics, and quantum information and computation. My approach is patient, clear, and tailored to each student. We can unpack challenging concepts, work through practice problems step by step, prepare for exams, or strengthen your foundations. My goal is to help you understand the reasoning and become more confident solving problems independently. Lessons are online at $70 CAD per hour. I offer a free 15-minute introductory consultation to discuss your goals.
