Tutor Information

About

My name is Miles Taylor and I am a recent graduate student from Oregon State University. For 8+ years, I have been both a public and private tutor in chemistry/math. I taught on campus as an interim general chemistry instructor for classrooms of over 200 students and was the chair of the American Chemical Society local section - Oregon. I am highly proficient in chemistry and the surrounding subjects. My primary focus in teaching is physical chemistry, which requires a heavy understanding of calculus, differential equations and linear algebra. With every session, we will slowly build the frame-work to help you succeed. Whether it be, getting ready for an upcoming class, test, or subject exam, I will provide both primary and secondary resources to help you become the best student possible. If you are looking for an SAT or GRE tutor, I am happy to fulfill the duty. You should never feel afraid of taking any test and I will always provide an open atmosphere to perfect your test-taking skills. Commonly, I'll meet students at the local library or through the easy-to-use online interface. My direct approaches also apply to organic chemistry, biochemistry and other basic life sciences. With any subject, feel free to contact me and I will answer all questions within 24 hours.
