Hello! I'm Jake. I'm a native English speaker from the United States. My hobbies include reading, writing, cooking, and playing guitar. I believe that education is a reciprocal experience, in that as the student is learning, I am learning as well, by teaching them. Keeping things fun and engaging is a top priority for me, and I encourage students to let me know if they have trouble understanding something. Students do not need to be completely fluent in English to talk with me, and the classroom environment is casual. I have experience teaching students from a variety of backgrounds. My hours are very flexible, and I respond to messages quickly. As a native English speaker, I have an instinctive grasp of the trickier parts of the language, such as grammar, slang, tenses, etc. I also love conversation, and am exceedingly patient.
