2024 - 2024Applied Data Science Lab, Machine Learning
Data Science Lab for 8 portfolio projects relating to data science and machine learning.
The following are the projects that I have worked on:
1. Predicting Earthquake damages in Nepal using decision tree model.
2. Evaluating housing of properties in Mexico using simple linear regression model.
3. Using ARMA time-series model to measure air quality in Nairobi, Kenya (data extracted from MongoDB using py-mongo).
4. Determine the price of apartments in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
5. Predict the likelihood of company bankruptcy in Poland using random forest and gradient boosting models.
6. Using K-means models for customer segmentation in the United States.
7. Determine whether sending an email to WQU faculty increases the chances of program enrolment using chi-square test.
8. Building a time-series model that can predict asset volatility in India.
