About
I'm Nilou, a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto, with undergraduate and master's degrees in Electrical & Computer Engineering. I tutor university and high-school math, physics, and statistics, plus engineering coursework, signals and systems, MATLAB, Python, and intro machine learning and data analysis. I also help with GRE quant and general research and study skills.
My whole approach is to explain hard ideas in plain language and meet you exactly where you are. I don't rush, I don't make you feel behind, and I find the way of explaining that finally makes it click for you. Years of research and mentoring taught me that almost anything becomes clear with the right analogy and a bit of patience.
