-- To all NEW students - First half-hour session is FREE! -- I am a Software engineer with 30+ yrs experience in computer programming. I also enjoy programming as a hobby and have written several games and programs in my free time. Solving problems using computer programs, whether professionally or as a hobby, has always provided me with a great feeling of satisfaction. I have been a youth baseball coach (ages 8-14) for the past 20 years as well as serving on the board of a non-profit youth sports organization. I manage the umpire program for this organization which requires me to find, hire and schedule teenagers as umpires to fill the assignments for all the games in a season. I have found that my past relationships with young people I have coached greatly facilitates finding teenagers who want to be umpires.
