Hello! My name is Bernadette, and I am passionate about helping students improve their English skills and succeed academically. I am TESOL certified and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, which has given me a solid foundation in research, writing, and communication. Over the past 10 years, I have taught teens, young adults, and college students, focusing on grammar, reading comprehension, pronunciation, and assignment guidance. Teaching has always been rewarding for me because I enjoy seeing students grow in confidence and ability. I believe learning should be interactive and engaging, so I tailor each lesson to fit the needs and pace of the student. My goal is not only to help learners improve their English but also to make sure they understand how each lesson connects to their personal, academic, or professional goals. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with my family. These interests help me connect with students on a personal level and bring real-world examples into my lessons.
