About

Struggling with first-year calculus or linear algebra? The pace can be brutal and I know office hours are packed. I've spent nearly a decade marking and teaching exactly the assignments you're stuck on, so I know where marks actually get lost and where roadblocks usually happen. I've also coached students through Olympiad problem sets, which is mostly about building intuition rather than memorizing steps, and that is my goal whenever I teach. I'm currently a Robotics PhD candidate at York University with a MSc in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor's in Computer Science (Minor in Math) from TMU. I'm also a TA at York University currently. The core I cover: - Calculus I/II - Linear algebra - Differential equations - Probability & statistics - Discrete Mathematics - General math for CS and engineering students - Functions Grade 11 - Advanced Functions Grade 12 - Calculus and Vectors Grade 12 - Physics Grade 9-12 And I can also help with: - Coding: Java, Python, C++ - Computer Vision How it works: Send me the problem set or topic ahead of time, we work through it live with a shared whiteboard, and you leave with a written summary of what we covered. First 15 minutes free so we can check the fit.

Work Experience

York University

September 2022 - present
Teaching Assistant
I have been a Teaching Assistant for math focused courses like computational complexity and discrete math, and more computer science focused courses like computer vision, intro to java, and intro to mobile robotics

Toronto Metropolitan University

September 2017 - May 2020
Teaching Assistant
I was a Teaching Assistant in discrete math, calculus, linear algebra, probability and statistics. I graded work and taught labs/tutorials weekly. I also would teach computational complexity in labs and would sub in as instructor occasionally.
