About

I have worked in education for over five years now, specializing in transitioning first-year students to second-year. My motto is to be a learning partner in the educational process. Therefore, I try to adapt to the needs of my students and adjust my practice to best suit their needs. I have extensive experience in editing and proofreading a range of assignments. My approach to assisting a student with their writing is to begin by doing a diagnostic test to see where they are at as a writer, specifically with syntax, grammar, organization, citation, supporting material, etc., then I create lessons that best suit the learning style of the student. I received awards from my work in Residence Education and distinction as an undergraduate student with an average of 10.31/ 12. I would be happy to help in history, social studies, English literature, reading, and writing for students between the ages of 8-19.
