Enthusiasm is infectious. If I love my subject and my job, I will be able to engage with the people I teach. My enthusiasm during lessons can improve the self-efficacy of my students. Self-efficacy is believing in your own ability to successfully perform a task, and so is likely to increase a student's engagement in a lesson. As an enthusiastic teacher, I often spices the class with excitement, enjoyment, and anticipation; engage students to participate; and stimulate them to explore. Thus, my enthusiasm sparks the curiosity of students and jumpstarts their motivation to learn.
