About
I'm a math tutor dedicated to inspiring students to gain the mathematical knowledge I've acquired, so they can achieve their optimal potential. I'll provide structured, organized lessons suited to each student's needs and ensure the concepts are understood.
Students should show me the math topics, and I can look them over and share my knowledge with them. I can teach students tricks and shortcuts to help them learn difficult math subjects with ease. With what I learned in high school and college, I can help them understand math concepts and pass their courses with ease.
The teaching methodology is based on patience, clear explanations, and participation. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching style to match each student's needs and pace. My goal is not only to help students solve problems but also to help them understand the underlying concepts of mathematics so they can apply what they learn independently.
The lesson begins by identifying the topics or assignments the student needs help with. I ask these students to explain what they already understand and which step they are having the most difficulty with. This would help me focus on the areas that need the most attention.
Next, I'll describe the concepts by laying out a step-by-step procedure and working through a few examples. I demonstrate different methods for solving problems, including helpful tricks. After describing the concepts, we work through several practice problems together, and I encourage my students to ask questions throughout the lesson.
As my students each get into their comfort zone, they solve problems on their own while I provide them with useful feedback right after. If my students ever make mistakes, we review them together to understand why they happened and how to avoid them in the future. At the end of each lesson, I'd summarize the key concepts, answer any remaining questions my students have, and recommend additional practice if needed.
