Hello! My name's Matt. I'm a Princeton and UCLA graduate with nearly two decades of experience in education. Standardized Testing: I've tutored the SAT and ACT for nearly two decades. I've helped hundreds of students improve their scores significantly, often by 200-300 points on the SAT, and by as many as 8-10 points on the ACT. I'm also experienced in tutoring the GRE and the ISEE. Writing Consulting: I have 7 years of experience as a writing consultant for graduate and professional students--PhD students, master's students, and law and medical students. If you're working on a master's thesis, a dissertation, or any other advanced work (including resumes, cover letters, and personal statements), I'm the right choice for you. I've also worked extensively with undergraduates and high-school students on everything from class essays to college admissions essays. In addition to the previous two specialties, I'm also a versatile educator who is experienced in many subjects (both STEM and the humanities) across many age ranges (from kindergarten through adult learners). I have nearly twenty years of experience in education, and will help just about any student in almost any subject area. Please note that my listed rate is my maximum rate, and usually applies to standardized testing and high-level writing consulting. Please inquire about lower rates for other services.
