I am a PhD-qualified Chemistry educator and Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT)with 20+ years of teaching experience in Canada and internationally. I currently teach with the York Region District School Board (YRDSB) at an IB World School , teaching senior-level Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
My academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry, a Master of Engineering, and a Bachelor of Education, together with additional Ontario teaching qualifications in Mathematics, Physics. My combination of advanced subject knowledge, professional teacher certification, and extensive classroom experience allows me to support students well beyond traditional tutoring.

My Teaching Approach
My goal is not simply to help students complete homework or memorize formulas. I focus on helping students understand why concepts work, recognize connections between topics, and develop the problem-solving skills needed to work independently.
Complex concepts are broken down into clear, manageable steps, followed by carefully selected examples and increasingly challenging problems. Lessons are personalized according to the student's curriculum, current level, learning gaps, and academic goals.
