Hi! I’m a Math and Computer Science tutor with a Master’s degree in Data Engineering and Analytics from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering from an IIT in India.
I have experience as a Teaching Assistant for courses on AI graph-search methods and Paradigms of Programming, where I taught concepts involving functional, logical, object-oriented programming, using Haskell, Prolog, and C++. I also have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Computer Vision is my main area of specialization, and probability is one of my favorite subjects to teach.
Teaching has been part of my life for a long time. I grew up in a family of educators: one of my parents is a retired mathematics professor, while the other is a physics teacher/headmaster of a government school in India. I spent time tutoring students voluntarily while growing up, so explaining mathematical and scientific ideas has been familiar to me from an early age.
My teaching style focuses on understanding rather than memorization. I try to identify where a student’s reasoning breaks down, build the concept from intuition and examples, and then move toward independent problem solving.
For Olympiad and competitive-math students, I can also help with problem-solving strategy, recognizing patterns, choosing efficient approaches, and tackling unfamiliar problems.
