Originally from France and with over 10 years of experience in homework assistance, lesson comprehension and supplementary support for school subjects in schools, town halls and community centers, I now offer private lessons. My main subjects are French, English, history, and geography for all ages, but I am also able to assist children and young people with their homework and lessons in mathematics, science, and other languages.
Main subjects (specialised courses for all ages and levels):
French (grammar, written and oral expression, literature) – Currently training in FLE (French as a Foreign Language) to teach French to non-French speakers.
English (conversation, exam preparation, refresher courses)
History-Geography (general knowledge, essay writing and document analysis methodology)
I am aware of the difficulties that the younger generation can encounter (discouragement, lack of self-confidence, organizational issues, lack of resources to make revision sheets, etc.) and I am committed to supporting them and passing on my knowledge.
My background in social sciences has helped me develop many qualities that are useful in educational support, such as cultural mediation between institutional knowledge and the learner's experience. I am also skilled at constantly adapting teaching strategies.
Versatile and curious about everything, my knowledge comes both from my qualifications (bachelor's degree in social work, diploma in social work, professional baccalaureate in commerce and sailor's certificate from the French Navy) and from my many trips abroad to Europe, Africa and Asia.
I adapt my approach to each student, as everyone learns differently. My goal ? To identify difficulties, offer a learning method tailored to each individual, and make homework and learning enjoyable.
