I would like to introduce myself by saying that I am a trained Physicist with a master’s degree by research and several years of industrial research experience prior to teaching.

Investigating methods of increasing information density on compact discs. This involved mathematical modelling and numerically solving partial differential equations in several media with a moving heat source.

TEACHING: Secondary School IB Math, MYP Math and Physics: co-writing and implementing unit plans for the MYP Math and Physics programs.

TEACHING: High school A.P. Physics, I.B. Physics, A.P. Calculus, and Electronics. Developed a large number of High Tech. Labs using the Calculator Based Lab System and graphical analysis software. Also co-designed unit plans for Physics IB and AP. Performed with the High School band in a charity concert for the physically and mentally handicapped. Member of the Teachers Representative Committee.

TEACHING: High School A.P. Physics and Chemistry. Attended CHEMCOM workshop in Dallas Texas: June 1997. Wrote lesson plans for a USA sponsored Environmental Education Curriculum, which was subsequently implemented throughout Latin America. Member of Expeditionary Learning Committee for S.A.C.S. review. Helped to direct and played leading role in school production of South Pacific (Roger and Hammerstein ).

TEACHING: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, General Science, from lower secondary to G.C.S.C. and Advanced level / University entrance. Directed, wrote sketches for, and acted in the annual talent shows. Member of Fundraising Committee. Set up a Science Club.
