Hello! My name is Stephen Saltvig and, during the day, I am a Technical Account Manager at a cybersecurity company. I help my customers - name-brand, household companies - improve their performance with data-driven recommendations, targeted education and feedback, and laser-like focus on their end goals. Beyond my day job, I am a passionate educator for professionals and students alike. I subscribe to the philosophy that education is a highly-personalized endeavor, and I maximize my students' success by taking the time to understand who they are and how they learn best. We partner to create the tutoring program that yields an objective improvement in the desired result - whether it be an "A" in Algebra 1, a winning Personal Essay for a dream college application, or a newfound confidence in analyzing data or using Microsoft Excel. I graduated cum laude from UCLA with degrees in Economics and Global Studies. For over 3 years, I tutored underserved middle and high-school students in a number of subjects including pre-Algebra, Algebra and English. In my professional life, I have increased the scope of my tutoring services to support adults looking to find a new job or break into a new industry.
