Program manager
As a program manager, my responsibilities included overseeing the Thematic Research Networks program, which had a funding envelope of $10.5 million CAD. This involved promoting, managing, and monitoring the program, as well as coordinating its redesign to ensure it remained up-to-date and effective. To achieve this, I organized meetings and consultations with researchers and partners involved in the program, and established scientific and strategic evaluation committees to assess its progress and impact. I was also responsible for conducting written evaluation reports to provide feedback on the program's effectiveness and suggest improvements. In addition, I organized a symposium to bring together researchers and stakeholders involved in the program to share their findings and discuss new developments in the field. Overall, my role was essential in ensuring the success of the Thematic Research Networks program and its continued contribution to research in the relevant field.

Université de Montréal

December 2019 - April 2020
Laboratory Teacher Assistant
As a laboratory teacher assistant, my main responsibilities included preparing and overseeing laboratory sessions, ensuring that students were properly trained in laboratory techniques and adhered to safety protocols. Additionally, I supervised students during their work in the lab, corrected lab reports and exams, and supervised quizzes and exams to ensure a fair testing environment. It was my duty to ensure that students understood the concepts and techniques required to complete the tasks assigned in the laboratory sessions, while maintaining a supportive and encouraging learning environment. In this role, I was committed to ensuring that all students had the resources and support they needed to succeed in the laboratory and beyond.

CHUM's research centre

September 2019 - July 2021
Research program manager
I was responsible for various tasks related to conducting studies and research. I conducted the preparation, review, and implementation of study documents, including reports, correspondence, and presentations. I also performed laboratory analysis and literature reviews to help develop fund requests and other related documents. Another aspect of my role involved the implementation of the team's monthly newsletter, which required skills in research, graphic design, and distribution. I was also responsible for creating study advertisements, logos, and the layout of various documents. In this role, I had to follow strict confidentiality and ethics requirements related to the identification of participants and the dissemination of study data. I requested and communicated with the ethics committee and organized and coordinated the required consultations and meetings. In addition, I coordinated with partners responsible for data management and researched, wrote, and analyzed relevant documents, working papers, and data from consultations and meetings. Finally, I was responsible for translating documents from French to English and vice versa to ensure effective communication between team members and stakeholders.
