I am a medical doctor, a graduate of RCSI - Bahrain and have over 4 years of clinical practice - Passed PLAB with high scores (PLAB 1- 151/(average score 139) (PLAB 2 - 173, minimum required - 116) - Written the MCCQE1 and NAC OSCE for the Medical Council of Canada in 2020 (results pending). I have taught students starting in High school, continued through Medical School and during my work as a clinician I have mentored interns and junior residents. I prefer an approach where I teach the student to learn the topic for themselves. I truly believe understanding and contemplating a topic is the best way to retain information. If there are any doubts about the material or any unclear concepts I take multiple approaches to explain the material until the student is confident about it themselves.
