Highly Rated Remote Malayalam Tutor

Hi, I'm a native Malayalam speaker and I teach at a High School In New York. I make learning Malayalam fun and incorporate a lot of multimedia in my teaching. Since I'm an actual teacher working in NY, I think I can do a better job of teaching Malayalam through English. I can offer customized classes for both smaller kids and grown-ups. I can also customize classes according to your needs. For instance, some might only need to speak Malayalam while others might want a deeper understanding of the language along with grammar. I can cater to all these groups. Thank you for your interest in learning Malayalam.

History and Writing Tutor

I am an educator who has worked with students in various settings for over twenty years. I have tutored students in both history and writing at the college and high school levels I specialize in preparing students to write excellent essays for their AP exams in US History, Art History, World History and European History. Over the last decade I have taught World, Latin American, and United States histories at local universities, as well as online classes at a global university. In addition, I have taught upper-level history and also writing classes as part of the general education curriculum. I have experience teaching history to high school students enrolled in an Early College program at a Community College. I also score AP US History exams for the College Board every summer so I am familiar with essays. I am currently an adjunct history professor completing a dissertation in history at Ohio University. While completing my MA in History at UNC Charlotte, I was the instructor of record for two sections of a Liberal Studies class for freshman as part of a grant to improve student retention rates. The curriculum for this class required instructing writing and research skills as well as encouraging the students to develop effective strategies for academic success. UNCC’s Office of Disability Services awarded me their Outstanding Faculty/Staff award for my efforts in the classroom that semester. At UNCC I completed a Teaching at the College and University Level class that expanded my pedagogical competence, especially taking into account various learning styles. At OU I completed a World History Colloquium that addressed various approaches to teaching a world history class. I believe that my knowledge and training will help you better understand historical concepts and write more proficiently.

Former Graduate Teaching Assistant at Ohio University with a passion for helping students unlock their language potential and build a language tool box with resources for continual learning

Hola y bienvenidos estudiantes! I have a passion for teaching the Spanish language and culture to others because I think learning a second language can be a bridge to new opportunities and experiences. I recently completed my Masters in Spanish and my role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the college level courses. I have been learning the Spanish language for 11 years. I struggled with learning Spanish in middle and high school and became more fluent in college due to some helpful tools and the cultural exposure my professors provided. Basically, I understand how difficult learning a second language can be. As a tutor, I want to share some of the ways I overcame the hurdles of improving fluency (especially with spoken Spanish), retaining vocabulary, and bettering grammar.
