I am a medical resident with over 11 years of experience tutoring university courses and the MCAT. I scored in the 97th percentile for the Chem/Phys and 99th percentile for the Bio/Biochem sections of the MCAT (2017). I have also taught university exam prep and MCAT science lessons to in-person classes of over 150 students, as well as recorded over thousands of hours of 1-on-1 tutoring. Additionally, my work experience as a TA has taught me the ins and outs of how university exams are written, along with what students can expect from them. In chemistry and biology courses I can consistently predict the types of questions (and occasionally exact questions) that come up on exams. On top of my lecturing experience, I have also helped students to prepare for the MCAT exam. If you're writing the MCAT, I can work with you to design a study schedule, recommend high yield resources, as well as teach you an approach on how to tackle important MCAT questions/passages. In general, when tutoring I like to break down complex concepts into smaller steps using silly and efficient tricks. I've additionally completed a Master's in Neurosciences/Neuroanatomy and finished medical school in Canada. I have expertise tutoring the following tests/subjects: MCAT (Chem/Phys, Bio, Psych/Soc) Organic Chemistry (>3000 hours between tutoring + TA + class instruction) General Chemistry Biology/Physiology I also have expertise in tutoring students studying the subjects of Medicine, Musculoskeletal Anatomy, Neuroscience, Neuroanatomy, and foundations of rehabilitation, and offer them at a REDUCED RATE. Scored in the top quartile on the CASPER examination (2022) Below are sample tutoring resources that have I created to complement my lessons. Also, I have attached some of my student's MCAT scores before versus after our tutoring sessions! Reach out if you're interested in setting up a session! :)

My name is Daisy Morris I am a native English speaker with a British accent I am TEFL certified and a graduate of East 15 Acting School – attaining a bachelors degree in Physical Theatre. Having previous teaching experience abroad, a love for creating and working with other people and a desire to travel, I am finally TEFL certified and ready to share my knowledge, skills and unique teaching style with those who are willing and excited to learn. I am an honest, open-minded and caring girl and I strive to make people feel welcomed and at ease in my company. I have taught English in Spain to both elementary and secondary schools – creating my own lesson plans, teaching to groups with mixed ages and abilities, and I was fortunate enough to live within a family where I was teaching two 5 year olds English, and was able to see every day their progress. It is this that encourages me to teach more, to pass on an extremely useful tool for each student, and see a definite progress in their development. I am a confident, energetic teacher and use my skills in performance/theatre to influence my lessons in an engaging and fun way. I remember my classes in school – the ones I enjoyed the most, and not only had fun in, but retained the information and wanted to learn more. I want to create those classes for students. Learning is difficult, it needs patience, and it needs to be stimulating. I am good at adapting to my environment and working with limited resources.
