My name is Alessa, and I am a second-year Honours Political Science and Sussex Law (LLB) student at Wilfrid Laurier University. I have a 12.0 GPA (A+ average) and over five years of tutoring experience working with students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. As a Licensed2Learn certified tutor, I understand that every student learns differently. Therefore, I take a patient, supportive, and individualized approach to ensure each student develops a deeper understanding of the course material while building confidence in their abilities. I specialize in English, essay writing, law, history, political science, and the broader social sciences. Throughout my tutoring experience, I have worked with students across a variety of subjects, with a particular focus on strengthening writing skills, breaking down complex concepts into clear and manageable steps, improving organization and study habits, and helping students prepare effectively for assignments, tests, and exams.
