Math, Physics, Circuits, Signals, Electronics & More | 7+ Years Experience in Teaching | Master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McMaster University

About me: I hold a Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Electrical & Computer Engineering from McMaster University, where my research focused on optical wireless communications. I have 7+ years of teaching experience as a TA at both McMaster and the University of Tehran, and I have tutored 130+ students across +1100 hours throughout Canada and the US. I know firsthand how difficult ECE and math courses can be — and I know exactly where students get stuck. My sessions focus on building real understanding, not just getting through the homework. I explain the "why" behind the math, work through your actual course material, and send you session notes afterward so nothing gets lost. Courses I Can Help With: ● Electrical Engineering: Signals & Systems, Electrical Circuits, Circuits & Systems, Electronics I, Communication Systems, Digital Communications, Digital Signal Processing (DSP) ● University Math: Calculus I-IV, Differential Equations, Probability & Statistics, Linear Algebra ● High School: Functions, Advanced Functions, Calculus & Vectors, Physics 11 & 12, Pre Calculus 11 & 12 ● Programming: MATLAB About the lessons: Every session is built around your course — your textbook, your professor's slides, your upcoming exam. I don't use generic problem sets; I work through what you're actually struggling with right now. Here's what a typical session looks like: we start by identifying exactly where you're stuck, I walk you through the concept from first principles until it clicks, then we practice with exam-style problems until you can do it on your own. I record sessions on request and send typed notes after each lesson. I'm available for one-time exam prep sessions as well as ongoing weekly tutoring. Most students see a noticeable improvement within 2–3 sessions. Reach out to confirm availability — I typically respond within an hour. Please note that the listed price reflects the base rate. Hourly rates may increase depending on the course.

Any student can succeed with a little bit of help!

I try to explain different concepts by using various examples under the specific topic. For instance, I connect physics concepts and the real world while teaching physics. Also, mentioning some examples of great theories when I’m teaching mathematics makes students more interested in this field. Increasing the amount of problem-solving and tackling various questions with different difficulty levels also helps to improve learning.

Subjects: AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Physics, Calculus, Elementary Math, Integral Calculus, Math, Math/Science, Maths, Multivariable Calculus, Physics, Physics (Newtonian Mechanics), Pre-Calculus, SAT II Mathematics Level 1, SAT II Mathematics Level 2, SAT Mathematics
