Hi, I'm Jenny! I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Utah Valley University and earned my Associate of Science in Mathematics with honors. My tutoring journey started in high school as a calculus teaching assistant—classmates kept coming to me because I made complex concepts understandable and intuitive. Over the past nine years, I've tutored hundreds of students from age 11 through adults in one-on-one and small group settings, both in person and online. I cover middle school math, high school algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, and college courses including Calculus 1-3, linear algebra, differential equations, and statistics. Whether you're struggling with fractions or mastering multivariable calculus, I can help! My approach focuses on building genuine understanding rather than memorizing formulas. I learn how each student learns best, what motivates them, and where they've gotten stuck. Then I break down concepts step by step, work through problems together, and give space to practice independently so you build real confidence. I love connecting math to real life—derivatives through roller coasters, statistics through sports, algebra through budgeting. My goal is transforming how you feel about math. We can work together using the built-in whiteboard to solve problems in real time, share screens to review textbook problems or online homework, and I can send you notes and examples after each session for review.
