Master's student tutoring biology and chemistry
I am a Cell Science and Microbiology Master's student at the University of Florida. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with Minor in Chemistry at the University of Central Florida. I have tutored courses including undergraduate Organic Chemistry I and II and Microbiology at the University of Central Florida's Student Academic Resource Center since May 2025. I tutored group and one-on-one sessions in-person and/or online. For Organic Chemistry, I developed exam review materials and other practice materials to aid in deepening my students' understanding. I am a College Reading and Learning Association International Tutor Training Program Certified Advanced Tutor. During my semester serving as Peer Tutor Mentor, I mentored tutors and helped them develop plans to improve their tutoring sessions. Currently, I am taking courses in infectious disease, antimicrobial resistance, and AI in life sciences.
