As your tutor, I want to collaborate with you and work on helping you become a better version of yourself. My strongest suit is writing and reading. I am a writing and reading enthusiast! My experience in writing encompasses a range of skills, including proofreading, editing, outlining, citation management, and brainstorming. I provide thorough feedback and recommendations on essays via Google Docs. My experience in reading ranges from expressive language, story analysis, context clues, digraphs/syllables, and phonological awareness. The overall goal is to help you find joy in reading while understanding the context of a story. My process is simple. First, I conduct a live video interview to gain a deeper understanding of your needs and goals. Once scheduled, our first session is a trial session. During our session, I will do an assessment and later create an individualized tutoring plan. Overall, I am incredibly patient but honest. I believe in providing constructive criticism and motivating my students to want more. I am a visual teacher and believe that visuals, props, and animation are crucial to understanding complex concepts.
