Hello! My name is Abby, and I've been tutoring and teaching for 3 years now. I have a BA in English & comparative literature and in political science from the University of North Carolina, where I graduated summa cum laude. Go heels! I have a variety of teaching experiences. I've been an online tutor with Varsity Tutors since 2020, where I mainly teach ACT/SAT test prep, K-12 English, and college application essay writing. After graduating from university in May 2021, I also began working as a classroom teacher. During the summer of 2021, I was a 4th and 5th-grade reading and math remediation teacher for summer school. I have been working with kids who are studying English as a second language for 2 years, and I love it! As an online tutor, I've had the opportunity to work with children from all over Japan and South Korea, and now I want to expand my services.
