I'm Jadon currently an undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Austin and strive to become a math professor. I was at the top of my class in high school, taking Calculus III as a senior, finishing with honors, and a 104 GPA. I have had prior tutoring experience in math, history and Spanish while working at Kumon for two years. In this environment, I interacted with 2-5 students in a classroom, assisting them when needed and creating a stress-free environment they could enjoy. I also started my own tutoring organization known as No Pay to Learn and Play for three years. I created this organization to help those in isolation do well in school. I strove to create a personal connection with them and would often play chess with them after our lesson to learn more about their personality. This was to better tailor my teachings to their personality and needs. I have come to understand how important the relationship between the student and teacher is when it comes to the learning experience. This relationship could change how a student views a subject forever and improve how they learn the subject altogether. I am a firm believer that every student has different forms of learning and deserves my undivided attention to understand what they need. In order to incorporate this ideology, I would ask the students what their ambition is and connect what they are learning to that ambition. In this way, the student will become more motivated to learn the material. I would ask how they learn best: visually, through listening or maybe something else. Lastly, I would be patient and engaging with the student in that I would continue to explain the concept until they understand, and I would create more creative methods of learning such as mnemonic devices. I am very flexible with my schedule and quick to respond. My goal is to improve students' learning experience and enjoy learning. I wish to help students get ahead or get back on track.

Hello, my name is Emi. I live in Tokyo and work in an office while also teaching Japanese. I majored in Economics and have over 20 years of experience in administrative roles. I earned a master’s degree in art studies while working, and currently, I am writing my doctoral dissertation. About My Lessons I offer practical, personalized lessons based on my professional and academic background. Lessons are mainly in Japanese, but I can support you in English if needed. You can learn comfortably at your own pace. ◆ Conversation Lessons: Small Talk to Office Japanese For learners who want to speak more naturally in daily or workplace settings We’ll practice small talk, polite language, email/phone expressions, and choosing words based on context and social distance. ◆ GENKI Practice Lessons For beginners using or reviewing GENKI I/II We’ll focus on key grammar and sentence patterns, especially parts that are hard to do alone, and apply them in conversation. ◆ Reading Lessons (News, Essays, Novels) For learners who want to read deeply and expand vocabulary Using real texts, we’ll build reading skills, explore cultural nuance, and discuss content to improve expression and thinking. ◆ Academic Japanese For university students and researchers We’ll study academic vocabulary, structure, logic, and prepare for reports, papers, and presentations. My Teaching Approach Through learning English and Spanish, I’ve come to appreciate how deeply Japanese reflects culture and values. Some expressions are hard to translate directly. I aim to share these cultural contexts so you can communicate naturally and meaningfully. Thank you for reading! If you're interested, feel free to contact me. I look forward to supporting your Japanese learning journey.

I studied a BCom in IB in Veracruz and graduated from my MBA in 2016. My area of study is focused on family businesses and leadership within them. I am currently being prepared for becoming an educator in foreign languages (Spanish and English). I have experience in speaking in public giving presentations about my experience at work, the roles of entrepreneurs in family businesses, and how to develop better communication skills in organizations. I have taught languages to groups of teenagers and adults for three years now using a whole-brain approach paying particular attention to their learning styles and the assimilation of information for using language in different contexts.

Greetings! I am Doc Claude, originally from Spain, but later moved to Asia. Do you like learning new languages and learning about other cultures? I have had the privilege of teaching Spanish and Japanese for over eight years. I usually teach from beginner to intermediate levels. My journey with these languages began during my formative years in Spain, leading up to high school, and I subsequently worked and taught at a Japanese company for more than ten years. While English is my native language, I have had extensive exposure to both casual and formal contexts in English, Japanese, and Spanish. In terms of my teaching philosophy, I advocate for a collaborative learning approach. This not only facilitates a richer learning experience for my students but also enhances my own understanding. I strive to incorporate grammatical lessons and concepts while also creating a space for sharing our diverse experiences.
