Reading/Writing Tutor

Hi everyone, if you are looking for a reading/writing tutor I am here to support. I have several years of experience working in education across all grade levels. If you need a tutor who can tailor sessions that best fit your child's need reach out today for an intro session. To give a quick preview of how I tutor: I like to first get to know you and your child. Then get a brief understanding of interests and what the child's learning style is. From the parent, I'll just ask what their child is struggling in and if they are on an educational plan how I can best implement that into our sessions.

University of Arizona Spanish Degree | Customized Digital Lessons

As a University of Arizona graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, I have built my academic career around mastering language mechanics. I earned the College of Humanities Outstanding Senior Certificate of Honorable Mention following four years of rigorous study. My Spanish degree includes over 40 credits of specialized coursework in Spanish linguistics, advanced grammar, and literature, preparing me to teach structurally. Throughout my undergraduate career, I successfully provided one-on-one and group Spanish tutoring for at least 3 years to college students spanning from freshmen to seniors, typically aged 18 to 22. I broke down complex grammar into customized lessons, and this led to over seventy percent of my regular students successfully raising their overall course grades by one full letter grade and building strong, long-term language proficiency. I am also deeply familiar with middle and high school Spanish I and Spanish II curricula. My introductory lessons directly anchor around standard secondary educational frameworks, ensuring sessions perfectly align with the student's current vocabulary lists, classroom topics, and foundational concepts. Each lesson includes clear objectives, guided practice, and targeted reviews to reinforce independent learning. I don't incorporate stressful drills- instead we break down challenging grammar by visually mapping out intuitive, memorable patterns together. I focus on true subject mastery through dynamic visual aids, interactive games, and collaborative exercises.

Former Teacher Offering Personalized Reading and Writing Tutoring for Elementary School Students

Hi, I’m Destiny! I’m a former classroom teacher with 7 years of tutoring experience. I’ve taught kindergarten and middle school and now work with students from elementary through high school. A large part of my tutoring work is with elementary students who need support in reading and writing. I also work with advanced students who are ready for more challenging material. I also keep parents updated on what we’re working on and how their student is progressing. Together, we'll create a supportive and structured learning environment where you can feel capable and proud of your progress. Great Tutor with amazing results!Guaranteed progress!!

I am a Qualified Teacher, working at a Grammar school in Aylesbury and I have recently been appointed as an examiner for Edexcel A-Level Mathematics.I am very passionate about my subject and I have a different approach to teaching including more practical ways which engage pupils and enhance their understanding as the new curriculum requires pupils to have a deeper understanding to be able to solve problems. I believe that every pupil can learn mathematics and I work hard to achieve that, especially with pupils who want to learn and succeed. Although I work in Grammar school, I have 6 years of private tuition experience with pupils who need more support and with high-achievers. Feel free to contact me if you want to know anything else.

Veteran Educator Who Loves Tutoring

I have enjoyed educating students for more than two decades. I have been licensed to teach math and English in public schools at the middle- and high-school levels and was a high school math teacher for seventeen years in Massachusetts. I have taught small group math, algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, precalculus, and calculus. I've taught English, too, and I can often help students with other subjects, as well. I've always found tutoring and extra help to be a favorite part of working as an educator. In fact, I became a teacher after tutoring for several years and loving it. Almost all of my many tutoring students were referred to me by satisfied parents. I listen carefully to my students so I can teach them where they are; it's the best way to start them on their way to where they need to go.
