Educator of music, english, and speech

When I was a kid, I struggled a lot to learn in a traditional classroom setting. I didn't understand why I had to sit still and why I wasn't allowed to make my own schedule and explore my own interests. It was so hard for me to focus on subjects that I didn't enjoy and to sit still for a long period of time. As an adult, I realized how much I would've benefitted from a teacher that would take the time to teach me in a way my brain could understand. Someone who cared about MY interests and passions and would use that information to engage me in subjects I wasn't as crazy about. Someone who could be patient and creative and who believed in me! I ended up becoming the type of teacher I always needed as a kid. I care about my students and their individual paths and truly believe that we all have our own unique way of learning! For the last 5 years, I’ve been teaching music to children of all ages. I've worked in a couple of different music schools as well as my own private lessons teaching piano, guitar, and vocal training. I teach my students to write music using the skills they already had while also developing new ones. I’ve found songwriting to be not only an amazing tool for my own life, but to be an amazing way for children to express their feelings and use their imagination and creativity. With my extensive experience in music, songwriting and music education, i've found that I have the expertise to teach reading, writing, and speech. I have studied vocal technique and songwriting for the last 10 years. I received my Bachelor of Music degree from The City College of New York in June of 2022.

Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris

Professional Singer Specialising in Music and French

Hello there! I have been studying "Chant Lyrique" or vocal performance in France for three years at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP). At this school I have been able to refine my musical skills and interpretation and bring them all to the next level. My academic experience, combined with my immersion in French culture, has allowed me to gain a high level in the French language and also in music theory. I have also completed advanced coursework in these areas, making me well-qualified to tutor students in both subjects. Over the past few years, I have tutored students of varying ages, but mostly older high school aged students and adults, in both French and music theory. My approach is tailored to each student’s individual learning style and needs, focusing on interactive methods and real-world application, whether in conversational French or musical concepts.

Enthusiastic and engaging writing coach, music teacher, and elementary school tutor

Are you burnt out on writing? Lost in the writing process, essay structure, or citation rules? Confused by music and music theory? Struggling to grasp elementary school concepts? I can help! I love learning and am passionate about helping others enjoy the learning process. With 10 years of experience teaching music (piano and violin), I have worked with students of all ages, learning styles, and abilities. My favorite moment is when the lightbulb goes on and a student grasps the concept they were struggling with. I am comfortable teaching music as well as coaching writing and helping tutor elementary grades. In high school I hated writing, but then I found my voice and fell in love with communicating in written form. Now I am self-published author, blogger, writer, editor, and successful academic writer. I have expertise with APA and MLA style academic writing as well as freelance article writing. I can provide writing assistance from structuring an essay to working on college papers and using correct citation to crafting writing and communication that connects with modern readers. I offer a free 15-20 minute consultation to see if I am a good fit and can assist you with what you need.
