I also helped supervise master’s students during their final year research projects. I often marked lab reports and assisted my supervisor with the smooth running of seminars. This program entailed a combination of courses touching upon topics in natural products chemistry, pharmacology, and ethnobotany. I also have 3 years (2010-2013) of experience working in a pharmacy where I dispensed medications under a pharmacist’s supervision, so I am familiar with the many classes of medications. Aside from the core biology courses, I also took electives in botany, ethnobotany, and plant ecology. After graduating, I spent a year working with rare cultivars of orchids in a private botany laboratory.
