As a tutor, my expertise lies in the following areas: 1. Subject Matter Mastery: I have a deep understanding of the subject matter that I am teaching. I am able to break down complex concepts into simpler, more understandable terms. I am able to answer questions and provide explanations in a way that is easy for my students to understand. 2. Personalized Learning: I understand that every student learns differently, so I customize my approach to teaching based on each student's individual needs and learning style. I take the time to get to know my students and their strengths and weaknesses so that I can tailor my lessons to their specific needs. 3. Clear Communication: I communicate clearly and effectively with my students, using language that is appropriate for their level of understanding. I am patient and take the time to explain concepts thoroughly, using examples and analogies to help my students grasp difficult concepts. 4. Motivation and Confidence Building: I believe that motivation and confidence are key factors in a student's success, so I work to instill both in my students. I encourage my students to ask questions, take risks, and challenge themselves. I provide positive feedback and reinforcement, and I celebrate their successes with them. 5. Organization and Preparation: I come to each tutoring session prepared and organized, with a clear plan of what we will cover. I use a variety of teaching materials, such as textbooks, worksheets, and multimedia resources, to keep my lessons engaging and interactive. Overall, my expertise as a tutor is in providing personalized, effective, and engaging learning experiences that help my students achieve their academic goals.

I offer professional, one-on-one tutoring in a huge array of academic subjects -- math, English, philosophy, the hard sciences, test prep (e.g., SAT, GRE and LSAT) and more. With fifteen years of experience studying college-level subjects, I have taught in classrooms at UT and tutored at the grade-school, college, and post-college levels. Work with me so I can make my success become your success. Together we can break the ice of incomprehension that bars the way between you and your academic goals. I'm eager to teach you to love the very subjects you used to hate. I scored 155+ on a professionally administered IQ test, started college at age fourteen, graduated there at the top of my class, and made a perfect score on the GRE on my first try. I've earned double Master's degrees, the first from Duke University and the second from the University of Texas. I specialize in taking students from ground zero all the way to the apex of their abilities. I work with my students slowly and carefully, with warmth and encouragement, going at their own pace.

I am a full-time Chemical engineering student at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg in South Africa. I am also a part-time freelance tutor and writer. I have tutored Physical Sciences to high school students and first year college students for the past 2 years and I have just recently gotten into tutoring English (with a specialty in literature, writing and conversational English). I got into the world of tutoring because I enjoy the process of unpacking complex concepts and simplifying them to such a level that everyone has access to them and can understand them. As a tutor, I strongly believe that our brains are wired differently and as such, they process information in different ways and so it only makes sense for each one of us to have a personalized and individualized learning experience that caters to our needs. To all new prospective students, a complimentary 15 minute session is available for booking. I look forward to helping you achieve all your academic goals.

I'm Jadon currently an undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Austin and strive to become a math professor. I was at the top of my class in high school, taking Calculus III as a senior, finishing with honors, and a 104 GPA. I have had prior tutoring experience in math, history and Spanish while working at Kumon for two years. In this environment, I interacted with 2-5 students in a classroom, assisting them when needed and creating a stress-free environment they could enjoy. I also started my own tutoring organization known as No Pay to Learn and Play for three years. I created this organization to help those in isolation do well in school. I strove to create a personal connection with them and would often play chess with them after our lesson to learn more about their personality. This was to better tailor my teachings to their personality and needs. I have come to understand how important the relationship between the student and teacher is when it comes to the learning experience. This relationship could change how a student views a subject forever and improve how they learn the subject altogether. I am a firm believer that every student has different forms of learning and deserves my undivided attention to understand what they need. In order to incorporate this ideology, I would ask the students what their ambition is and connect what they are learning to that ambition. In this way, the student will become more motivated to learn the material. I would ask how they learn best: visually, through listening or maybe something else. Lastly, I would be patient and engaging with the student in that I would continue to explain the concept until they understand, and I would create more creative methods of learning such as mnemonic devices. I am very flexible with my schedule and quick to respond. My goal is to improve students' learning experience and enjoy learning. I wish to help students get ahead or get back on track.

Hello! I enjoy meeting students where they need at any level and breaking things down as well. I also believe there are a lot of valuable things to be learned from popular media, most notably how valuable video games can be as a learning tool, especially for math. Though math and music are my main focuses I am also excited to help students with English, reading, theatre, and science as I can! I am currently getting a degree in elementary education, with a history in music education and high school to lower college level math as well! I have tutored officially for 3 years, and a total of 5 years when I include tutoring friends in high school. I have spent the last several months working as a substitute teacher in local schools as well, so I've had my fair share of teaching!
