I spent three years as a graduate student studying Physics at Vanderbilt University. I then taught high school Math and Physics for six years in Louisville, KY. Currently, I am a full-time online tutor. As a teacher, I found that each student learned the material in their own way; there are as many different learning styles as there are students. I work hard to find the right approach for each student. I'll break down any math topic, problem, or solution method into its component parts, explain and describe how each part works, and help you work through examples and guide you step-by-step through the concepts and processes so that at the end of the lesson, you not only have the work completed, but have a solid understanding of the concepts and how to solve problems of this type in the future.
