Dr. A. Schelle works as a (freelance) physicist and lecturer in applied sciences in both dual study programs and distance learning. He is an expert in numerical data science and its applications. The focus of his work is the development of modern IT concepts and applications using innovative mathematical models and algorithms. His main areas of interest include evaluation analytics, GAN models, artificial intelligence, and applied quantum mechanics. Dr. Schelle studied physics from 2001 to 2006 at LMU Munich, then completed his doctorate at the University of Sorbonne in France. He subsequently worked as a research associate at Helmholtz Zentrum München in the research and development section. Since 2014, he has been working as an independent physicist and analyst. From 2021 to 2022, he was particularly involved in the industry's founding phase as a Senior Analyst on both technical and organizational matters. Dr. Schelle is teaching as a lecturer at various well-established universities and institutions since 2006.

Hi, I’m Julia! I’m a second-year PhD student in Operations Research and a teaching assistant at MIT. I have seven years of tutoring experience, working with students from elementary school through third-year university. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto with a 4.00 GPA and a 97.6% average, receiving a university-wide scholarship recognizing me as the top female science graduate. I then pursued graduate-level mathematics coursework at the University of Cambridge before beginning my doctorate at MIT. Alongside my teaching assistant role at MIT, I have served as a teaching assistant for Calculus at the University of Toronto and Astronomy at OCAD University. I teach school mathematics, single-variable and multivariable calculus, linear algebra, ordinary differential equations, logic, set theory, proof writing, introductory probability and statistics, introductory physics, classical mechanics, and quantum information and computation. My approach is patient, clear, and tailored to each student. We can unpack challenging concepts, work through practice problems step by step, prepare for exams, or strengthen your foundations. My goal is to help you understand the reasoning and become more confident solving problems independently. Lessons are online at $70 CAD per hour. I offer a free 15-minute introductory consultation to discuss your goals.
