I work with children, teenagers, young adults, adults, elders and people with learning disabilities. I am Associate in Arts and Sciences- Psychology. I apply excellent Constructivist teaching methods.

I enjoy when I see my students making progress. When that happens I usually see this particular expression on their faces that says: "I am conquering the world!" They usually tell me "NOW IT MAKES SENSE". I feel very good when they are able to solve problems they thought they will never do! All my students are unique! I have a lot of experience teaching people with learning disabilities. By doing this, I was able to find different ways to explain difficult subjects in a very understandable way. I always have successful results. I love when my students succeed.

Experienced Math and Reading Tutor, Helps with Standardized Tests

Tell me what your goals are, and I will show you how to make them happen! I've worked in the public schools teaching 7th to 12th grade students for 4 years. After that I worked 3 years in Adult Basic Education, helping to prepare students for the GED test. For the past 6 months I have been tutoring privately in ELA, Math, and LSAT test prep. I'm experienced with many different ages, subjects, and backgrounds, including incarcerated adult students. My own educational background is in Philosophy. I possess a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida. In 2016, I graduated from San Diego State University's Teacher Credential Program with a subject matter certification in English and Social Studies. In addition, I have extensive training in developmental learning theories specific to one-on-one tutoring. Depending on the needs of the student, I will come prepared with a structured lesson plan, always with the expectation that plans are flexible. The student is free to bring to the lesson any work that they have questions with. When working with younger students, I will use different techniques to keep them engaged, including allowing them to get up and work out problems on the white board. Ideally, the best way to teach something is to prove to the student that it is true. So for geometry concepts, I will rely on visual and tactile demonstrations wherever possible, including by bringing in models of cylinders and cones. Some of the most common lessons I teach are writing lessons on how to 'show, not tell' and reading lessons to guide students through advanced texts such as Shakespeare. My lessons will conclude with homework assignments, either vocabulary words or practice problems to encourage independent practice. Students can always review a lesson summary I provide after each lesson. I can provide online sessions anywhere in the world. But also, if you are looking for an in person session in the San Diego county area, I am your guy.

My greatest passion in life is teaching and tutoring. I was born and raised in Bloomington, IN, and experienced great success at school and at university due to amazing and unforgettable teachers. This is the foundation of my commitment to helping out my students, whatever their abilities may be. I have been tutoring and teaching for 15 years in various settings – tutoring small and large groups, private individual tutoring, and teaching in rural, suburban, and urban classroom, online and home settings. I like using lesson plan or road map in which I introduce the topic, the related topics and the background. That's will help students get the big picture before diving into the ocean!, I like teaching by examples or what's called problem-based teaching because it is the way by which all the scholars have got the knowledge we are studying now, and it is the right way by which to discover new knowledge. I am a professional in tutoring Math in general from basic level to Calculus and Linear Algebra, Statistics and Biostatistics. Previously, I worked as an adjunct professor of Biostatistics at Kean University, NJ, and as a tutor at Mathnasium Math learning Center in Guilford and Woodbridge, CT. My background includes a BA in Laboratory Medicine, and a Masters in Math, Statistics and Biostatistics. I love teaching and helping people achieve their goals. I tutor students of all ages from primary school to college and after, and I am easy to reach and will always provide fast responses. Feel free to contact me anytime!, and would love to help you!

Hi, My name is Gamal and I am from Egypt. Looking for help in math? You are in the right place. Whether you feel stuck while solving homework or preparing for an important exam, I tailor my lessons to your needs and learning style. In math, practice really does make perfect, That's why I focus on helping you solve as many exercises as you can. This will help you build confidence and mastery. Beyond teaching, I love exploring the stars (literally—ask me about astrophysics!) and enjoy puzzles, reading, and sports. I have over five years of experience teaching high school and university students Physics and Math in addition to private tutoring. My lecturing experience also includes more than ten years of experience giving astronomy seminars to university students. I’ve helped engineering, business, IB, and elementary, middle and high school students with math. My lessons focus on interaction and developing understanding. Contact me now, and let's discuss your goals and how we can get them. Looking forward to seeing you. Two important notes: 1. I won’t do your homework for you. If you’re having trouble, send me the problems at least two days before the lesson, and I’ll explain the difficult parts and provide similar examples. 2. If you’re preparing for an exam, please reach out well in advance so I can create a proper study plan. I don’t offer last-minute revision sessions the night before the exam.

Just a Third Year Math & Business Major trying to help out!!

As a third year math student, I believe that the mental processes and ways I learnt what I needed to learn to get to where I am are more important than understanding the material. I aim to help you understand the material you need help with while imparting my knowledge and habits into you so you do not need my help longer than you should!

Ready to get a really nice experience learning math? I have the solution!

I'm 26, I'm a very friendly person who likes teaching everyone and help other understanding math. I'm used to use a method of solving questions and pay attetion to the theory. In this sense, we can solve 99% of questions and exercises, only get information by this method. Of course we need to study the concept, in order to understand it. In fact, We will learn when we have some maturity in some concepts. In this way, I teach every student and they like it too much. I've taught students on several platforms, and I know how to identify the student's difficulty. Of course there's no recipe to learning math, but we can use a lot of strategies, in order to be better and better. My lemma is: The more you study (in the right way), the more you'll learn. If you need help learning math. please talk to me. Wish you the best.
