One of the best math teachers you will find!

Hello, I hope you are doing well! My name is AJ, and I have been teaching mathematics to K-12 & post-secondary students for over 15 years now. I am also a mathematics instructor at one of my local technical institutes and am happy to be helping all of my students there as well. I truly believe that anyone can learn mathematics, and as such I have honed my skill of being able to modify my teaching style to suit my student's learning style. Although my time zone is MTN, I usually do stay up very late. As such, if you are living in Europe, Asia, or Australia and are worried about the time zone differences, just ask me and we'll see if we can figure out a schedule that works for both of us. If you are interested in learning more, please feel free to ask about any other questions or concerns you may have. Thank you so much! šŸ˜„

Mathematics, Chemistry, and Chemical Engineering Tutor

Hello! I'm Suheila, a mathematics and chemistry tutor. I've been delivering tutoring for individual and group instruction for 5 years ranging from K1 - K12 math lessons (Arithmetic, Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra, Precalculus) to university-level courses (Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Differential Equations). I am also familiar with chemical reaction engineering (kinetics and reactor design), and general, analytical, organic, and physical chemistry. For engineering subjects, I enjoy going through unit operations (separation and transport processes) To get a quick view of my process/teaching style, for online lessons, I usually start by gathering information on the syllabus, required textbooks, and current topics. From there, we could work on which areas you would like help in through concepts, lots of practice examples, and solved problems from your textbook.

Math & Physics Tutor | Algebra, Calculus & University Physics | ASU Physics Student

I’m an ASU physics student with an Associate degree in Mathematics and experience tutoring STEM students. I work primarily with high-school and college students in mathematics and physics. My approach is focused on understanding the setup of a problem rather than memorizing steps. We identify what the problem is asking, determine which concepts and equations apply, work through the reasoning, and then practice until you can reproduce the method independently. I can help with algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, introductory differential equations, university physics, and related quantitative coursework. Sessions can be used for homework support, exam preparation, concept review, catching up after falling behind, or building stronger foundations for future courses. Online sessions are available, along with limited in-person availability in the Tempe/ASU area.
