Experienced teacher of mathematics and statistics at Cambridge

My name is Alexander, and I am glad to present you my short biography and academic qualifications: I have a degree of master in mathematics from Moscow State University (Moscow State University), which gave me strong fundamental knowledge in the field of mathematics. After that, I was a researcher in the project of Marie Curie in Sweden, where I was engaged in research in the field of information search. This allowed me to develop data analysis skills, the application of statistical methods and immersion in urgent problems of information technology. Then I trained at the Part III program on mathematical statistics at the University of Cambridge, where I expanded my knowledge and skills in the field of statistics. During my studies, I also received a certificate from Judge Business School in entrepreneurship, which emphasizes my ability to apply mathematical and statistical knowledge in practical situations. My teaching experience includes work with various age groups and levels of students. I conducted individual classes and led group classes, where I tried to adapt my approach to the educational needs of each student. My teaching style is based on understanding the unique needs of each student, building a trusting relationship and creating a stimulating and supporting educational environment. I strive to apply various methods, including active educational methods, examples from real life and practical tasks, to help students better learn the material and develop their skills. Combining my academic qualifications, research experience and teaching skills, I strive to help students deepen my understanding of mathematics and statistics, develop analytical thinking and achieve success for their educational purposes.

Inspiring and Enthusiastic Online Maths Tutor

I am on a personal mission to share my passion for maths with my students and to challenge and engage with them so that they thrive in this subject. I try to understand each student individually and tailor my teaching methods accordingly. I think it is important that students understand what they are doing rather than just trying to memorize how to solve the problem. To get a better understanding of maths requires making mistakes and learning from them and of course lots of practice which is an important aspect of all my lessons. I have a first class degree in maths from Birmingham University and I have been working in the actuarial profession for 8 years qualifying as an Actuary 3 years ago. I myself suffered from maths anxiety at school and private tutoring helped me to overcome this and to go on to develop a love for the subject. I would like to help other students to overcome any difficulties or stresses that they have with maths like I once did so that they get a head start.

Young enthusiastic Scientist who loves teaching

I currently work as a sceintist for a major pharmaceutical company, although my main passion is mentoring and tutoring enthusiastic young people who want to improve their grades at school. I have completed work for a PhD in Biosciences at the University of Birmingham. Following this I completed 8 months training as a lecturer, before leaving to enter chemical industry. My preferable subject to teach is Maths, but I am also able to teach both Chemistry and Biology at ages 5-16. I have almost 3 years of experience of one-to-one tuition. I have a very good success rate with all of my pupils. I regularly taught and mentored undergraduates at both Bachelors and Masters levels at the University of Birmingham. I have also tutored both primary school and secondary school students to very high success.

Enthusiastic and Experienced GCSE/iGCSE Mathematics Tutor

"Everyone can do mathematics" - That's what I believe and I want to help you believe it too and achieve your potential. I can help you to take what you do know and build on this to build your confidence and grades. I love my subject and believe that anyone can do mathematics with the right help. I believe that students need to not only be able to do the maths, but have an idea of how it works. I try to help my students not only increase their skills but to also increase their confidence in their own ability. I enjoy helping students to develop their mathematical understanding and to achieve their learning goals. I can confidently teach GCSE maths from grades 9 to 1 (or A* to G if you still think in those terms). I am a UK qualified mathematics teacher with over a decade of classroom teaching experience. I am familiar with the National Curriculum and GCSE/iGCSE requirements and can look up others. I will work with you to provide a bespoke programme to improve your mathematics skills, proficiency and confidence. I love mathematics and you can too. I have run my own mathematics department where I was responsible for writing and developing schemes of work in line with the curriculum. I am a versatile teacher with the ability to present a concept in several different ways as I have a solid understanding of mathematics. I have also marked examination papers and moderated coursework for GCSE Statistics so I have insight into how examination boards work.

Captivating maths tutoring for those in need~

Who am I: My name is Daniel and I currently run my own (typically one-on-one) private tutoring, Sistematic Academia.   Time and place: I'm located in Beaumont Hills so I would prefer either at my house, at close-by libraries (Rouse Hill or Castle Hill) or at your location if it is easy to get to by public transport (that is if you're the only student on that day). At the moment, I'm currently free on: • Monday/Wednesday 5-9:30pm • Thursday - Saturday I'm free all day • Sunday 9am-2pm although these availabilities are subject to change due to uni, work and other plans. If there is more than one student on a day, please be considerate to the others.   Levels, lessons and prices: I currently can teach maths from primary till year 12 3 unit [Extension 1] (or even 4 unit [Extension 2] and tertiary; I would need to touch up on topics so possibly inform me on the topic at least 3 days before the lesson). There are no set lessons as of now; we will tailor it and discuss on how we'd like lessons to be run before the first session. The first lesson can be a trial lesson - $3 to $5 off the original price can be paid. After that, full prices are as follows: • $25 for year 4 to 7, • $30 for year 8-10, • $35 for year 11-12 • ($37.50 for tertiary maths) $3-5 extra will be charged for travel costs to your place or libraries.

Having obtained an A* in A level maths in just one year, i'm a very able mathematician. However, one's proficiency at a subject does not guarantee competence tutoring that subject. Fortunately I have a wealth of experience tutoring maths and have honed my tutoring skills. I ensure that all of my lessons are interesting and engaging.
