I have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a Master's degree in Education. I have been teaching chemistry for over 5 years, both in formal classroom settings and as a private tutor. I am well-versed in all areas of chemistry, from basic concepts like atomic structure and the periodic table to advanced topics like organic chemistry and thermodynamics. My approach to teaching chemistry is to break down complex concepts into simpler, more manageable parts. I use a variety of teaching methods, including visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples, to help students grasp the material. I believe that a strong foundation in chemistry is essential for success in other science fields, and I am committed to helping my students develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills they need to excel. In addition to teaching, I am also involved in research in the field of analytical chemistry. I enjoy keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and incorporating that knowledge into my teaching. I got into 3D art when I was 9 years old, now I teach people of all ages all around the world how to use Blender to design and model their own ideas.

13 years ago I started making small (honestly, kinda ugly) videogame prototypes with Blender. Now I've been teaching modeling and general 3D for three years and I can share my fascination with CGI and free software with everyone, from elementary school children, to professional programmers, to retired photographers. I believe in teaching not only the usage of the tools, but the theory of how they work, so that you can then understand new or unknown tools much easier and become self-sufficient. For that, we'll dive into some specifics of the mechanism that are working in the background while we build a series of projects and get out hands dirty. I believe the best way to internalize the knowledge is to practice, so I try to guide students towards small assignments that emphasize the techniques we learned while allowing for the creative expression that any art teaching should promote. That _is_ why we're here, after all.

Reliable, experienced tutor for the math, science, and economics courses, and for MCAT exam

I am a highly experienced tutor in high school and college-level math, science, and economics courses, as well as for standardized exams including the ACT, SAT Reasoning Test, SAT Math and Science Subject Tests, and the MCAT. I scored in the 99th+ percentile on the both the SAT and ACT, and scored in the 94th percentile on the MCAT. While at Emory University, I tutored for 3 years and over 700 hours for Emory's student tutoring service known as EPASS. As a private tutor for several years, I have received multiple compliments from my students for both my effective teaching and problem solving methods, as well as from the significant academic improvements that have resulted. I am familiar with the challenges that many math and science students face and how to solve them effectively. I am also a graduate of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and graduate of Emory University with a B.S. in Chemistry and Economics. I graduated with Phi Beta Kappa honors with a cumulative 3.9 GPA. I believe that tutoring should serve the student's benefit in both the short-run and long-run. In the short run, I make sure the student has his or her specific question answered thoroughly and the specific concept learned. I also teach students to be independent thinkers so that in the long run, they are trained to apply a logical problem-solving approach to a wide variety of academic situations and have a fluent understanding of the subject they are learning.
