There's always room to grow and every child is capable of reaching their fullest potential. I'm here to help lay those early foundations that can be built upon for years to come!

I graduated college set on becoming a high school English teacher, but I actually became a stay-at-home mom. I then opened an in-home daycare where I've been teaching young minds while home-schooling my kids. I specialize in emerging readers, phonics, early writing/grammar. I also do elementary math. When I'm not working with kids, I'm taking my kids to their activities, teaching at our Church, practicing hand lettering, making and designing things on my Cricut, or reading. I offer a free 15-minute session that will act as an evaluation so I can see where we will need to start.

Tutor for Statistics, SPSS and Research Methodology in Education and the Social Sciences

My favorite thing about tutoring statistics is watching students become less apprehensive and more competent as they "catch on" and learn. I start by finding out how each student learns best and what they hope to accomplish in the session(s). My tutoring successes include: 1. Helping a doctoral student to pass her final statistics course before taking her qualifying exams. 2. Seeing three students graduate after successfully passing their statistics courses because of my help. 3. Helping multiple graduate, undergraduate, and high school students to succeed in their statistics classes. Comments about my help include: "I appreciate how positive and encouraging Brooke is with my son. She's very patient with him as well. And her notes after the session are always informative and helpful. We're so lucky to have found Brooke. She's perfect for working with my son and that says a lot." "Amazing and I feel so much better and relieved. My only regret is that I didn't find her sooner! " "She is Phenomenal. Sadly the app did not cooperate, and the session did not occur. It wasn't her fault. " If possible I like to know in advance what a student wants to cover so I can better prepare. If they are needing help in a statistics course, getting a syllabus is helpful to me as well. If I feel I can’t help a student I will let them know right away, and, of course, do not charge for the session. I am familiar with many types of analysis software, but I prefer to tutor using SPSS, R (through R Commander), G*Power, JASP, JAMOVI or EXCEL. I can also assist with learning these software packages.

Being a student myself, I find teaching others helps strengthen my core knowledge. This in turn has given me the opportunity to see education from both sides of the lens where I better understand how to help students with what makes them understand the material to a greater degree. I have years of experience in various subjects including computer science and mathematics. STELLA MARIS, ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY

TUTOR WITH 33 YEARS EXPERIENCE SPECIALIZED IN CALCULUS

ABOUT MY EDUCATION: From the days of schooling i was very much interested in maths. I did my graduation in the most reputed college in chennai . ' STELLA MARIS' . I did my preuniversity course with MPC , (maths, physics, chemistry) and secured an overall percentage of 95.5. (200\200 in maths) That score was good enough to get an engineering seat in Anna University, but i opted for major maths in stella maris , due to my passion for maths. so i did my BSC ( MATHS) in the same college with PHYSICS and STATISTICS as my ancillaries. I came out with a distinction in my graduation. After a stint of few years i enrolled for MSC ( maths ) to enhance my knowledge. By that time i had started my carrier as a tutor teaching CBSE, ICSE, and AIEEE( IIT entrance) MY METHOD: I don't believe in working only from one book. Even though i am open to teach from the students book or material, i also give them work from different books i have. I first make the fundamentals strong, teach the concepts, and give them problem from different books. This method helps very much for the student to gain confidence and face the exam without the fear of an unseen problem. TOOLS: I have a PEN TABLET and DIGITAL PEN. I write on the whiteboard and share the screen with the student so that the student can view live, what i am writing. The student can also write on the whiteboard. Currently I am tutoring students in 8 countries across the globe. The syllabi I am handling are PRECALCULUS, AP CALCULUS ( both AB and BC ), CALCULUS 1, 2, 3 for UNDERGRAD STUDENTS DOING ENGINEERING( multivariable calculus, linear algebra, vector calculus differential equations), IB maths, FURTHER MATHS and SAT MATHS I am currently coaching students doing graduation in universities like TEXAS, CALIFORNIA, NEW YORK, FINLAND, CANADA and SINGAPORE AND LONDON
