My experience started when I went to college in Chicago, where I worked for two different after-school tutoring organizations. While there I also had jobs as a private tutor. Back home in Austin, Texas, I have continued my education online, earning many academic awards and honors. Through my degree program I also gained more tutoring experience by helping student teach undergraduate-level science courses and tutor students in biology. My most recent experience includes homeschooling my Kindergartener, who is thriving and testing at a 1st grade level per nationally normed standardized tests. I enjoy tutoring and teaching and am confident in my ability to help students of all ages understand the subjects that are difficult for them. My tutoring approach is unique to you and your individual needs. I might pull from existing curriculum, online resources, or utilize your own textbooks to help guide you to your educational goals.
