Primary- and Secondary-level Mathematics, Science, and Computer Science Tutor

To all new students: The first half-hour session is FREE. Greetings, I'm currently pursuing a research-oriented master's degree at Concordia University. I've been a consistent academic achiever and would like to make the path easier for other students. Half the battle is won if one finds the subject interesting and seeks to improve. I topped my school (in India), scoring the highest in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science, and then went on to complete a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from one of the premier engineering institutes in India (National Institute of Technology, Trichy). I then worked at Fidelity Investments and I'm now doing my master's degree in Montreal, Canada. My teaching style aligns with the following well-known quote, "If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime." I intend not only to help you achieve your short-term academic goals but also to better position you to achieve your long-term goals.

Teaching kids with "passion and patience" is my expertise

Serve passionately, teach patiently on Math, Management, Leadership, Construction, and Housing Studies. I had a BS degree in Architecture. I also have done with my MBA specializing Project Management. Currently taking Masters in Leadership in Post-Secondary Education in the University of Saskatchewan. I did some tutor works to my nephew who is a kinder student and progressively achieving 97% in his class. I also became a trainer teaching all Project-in-charge (PIC) and Project Manager (PM) preparing project schedules using CPM, 3-week look ahead, bar-chart with S-curve. I am also a current literacy tutor in one of the community schools in Saskatoon. In teaching, I see to it that basics should be master first before becoming a "master". I will not allow my student/pupil to learn the complex without mastering the basic foundation so that they will enjoy more the journey of learning without being pressured. More so, I also want them to learn to become grittier in life because grit kids never give up but instead they persevere when they fail. They passionately tend to overcome challenges whether it's simple or complex to succeed in school and in life. :)

Future Elementary School Teacher

I am currently in my final year of my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at Saint Louis University. I have a background in Special Education as well. After completing my Bachelor's I plan to teach at the Elementary level while getting certified as a Reading Specialist. My strongest suit is writing and reading. I am a writing and reading enthusiast! My experience in writing ranges from proofreading, editing, outlining, citations, and brainstorming. I provide thorough feedback and recommendations via Google Docs for essays.       My experience in reading ranges from expressive language, story analysis, context clues, digraphs/syllables, and phonological awareness. My overall goal is to help you find the joy in reading while understanding the context in a story!        My process is simple. First, I conduct a video chat interview to understand your needs and goals.  Once scheduled, our first session is a trial session. During our session, I will do an assessment and later create an individualized tutoring plan.       I am a visual teacher and think visuals, props, and animation is crucial to understanding difficult concepts!

Freshman at IU Bloomington

Hi! My name is Hannah and I am a freshman at IU Bloomington! MUSIC THEORY is a HARD class. I have taken it three times! I tutor the students in my music theory classes as well as my professor's students in his lower classes. I love sharing my knowledge of music and would like nothing more than to help others understand and love it as well. PROOFREADING is something I enjoy doing. Through proofreading all of my friends' essays over the years, I have gotten quite good at it. I am more than happy to proofread any essay sent my way. I LOVE MATH, I want to share my passion for problem solving and show others how it doesn't have to be frustrating and boring. I LOVE EDITING and WRITING, so please let me help make writing fun and easy! Being the grammar police isn't a bad thing... My favorite things are my dog, my fish, the mountains, and school;) Math is my jam! I love algebra and problem solving... as someone who struggled with math for years I understand the frustration of misunderstanding. Fear not! I am so excited to help students overcome their struggles just like I did. I graduated from Evergreen High School in Colorado last year where I tutored many of my peers since sophomore year. After years of struggling with ADHD and poor test taking/studying skills, I finally figured out what works for me and I love to help other students figure out a good solution for themselves as well. I am majoring in Audio Engineering in the Jacobs School of Music, but I have always loved math and writing. I am planning on minoring in secondary education as well;) I am passionate about teaching and take every chance I get to help other students. I am a great editor (and I enjoy editing papers) and I have experience helping with essay writing, reading comprehension, and overall reading strategies. I would love to help students with any math between Algebra-I and Algebra II (or middle school math!).
